WINONA, Minn. — Nick Whaley announced Tuesday that he was stepping down as the Saint Mary's University head baseball coach to become the head baseball and volleyball coach, as well as a physical education and health instructor at Winona Cotter High School.

WINONA, Minn. — It was a career year for Saint Mary's University Brady Knudsen (Racine, Wis.), and Tuesday, the Cardinal senior outfielder added another career first, being named to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team.

WINONA, Minn. — Saint Mary's University men's golf coach Tom Farren, who passed away suddenly in late November, was honored posthumously on Monday, being named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Co-Coach of the Year. Farren, who guided the Cardinals to a fifth-place finish in the 2007 MIAC Championships — SMU's highest finish in his nine years at the helm — shared the conference's honor with Gustavus head coach Scott Moe.
