MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. — There was not heartbreaking third-period letdown for the Saint Mary’s University men’s hockey team Saturday evening in the Cardinals’ rematch against St. Thomas Saturday evening.

The Tommies, who rallied from deficits of 2-0 after the first period and 3-2 after the second to beat SMU 4-3 at the SMU Ice Arena on Friday, scored the game’s first three goals and never looked back in completing the sweep with a 4-1 victory at the St. Thomas Ice Arena.
