Tessa Stranik is the assistant women’s volleyball coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a position she has held since the beginning of the 2008 season.
Stranik completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary’s, majoring in Biology and Biophysics. During her volleyball playing days at SMU, Stranik was twice named to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team, and was the 2003-2004 SMU female scholar athlete of the year. She was also named to the 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-District V Second Team and was a 2004 honorable-mention All-Central Region selection as named by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Stranik also holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
