Highlights:

A four-time All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection — twice in the 500 freestyle (1995 and 1996) and twice in the 200 butterfly (1995 and 1996) — Loeffelholz was the Cardinals’ team captain his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, while also being named the team’s Most Valuable Swimmer in each of his four years of competition. Named SMU’s Outstanding Male Athlete following his senior season, Loeffelholz still holds numerous school records in the freestyle and butterfly events.
