NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Saint Mary's University men's hockey team stays on the road Saturday evening, as the Cardinals — coming off a 6-1 nonconference loss at UW-Stout on Friday — travels to St. Olaf for a 7 p.m. nonconference game against the Oles.

Last Action: The Cardinals gave up the game's first goal just 38 seconds into the opening period and never recovered, falling to third-ranked UW-Stout 6-1 in a nonconference contest in Menomonie, Wis., Friday. St. Olaf, meanwhile, was outscored 3-2 over the game's final two periods in falling to St. Thomas 5-4 at home Friday.

A Year Ago: The Oles swept the teams' two Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meetings a year ago, winning 6-4 and 9-1.

January 23, 2009: The Cardinals fell behind 3-1 after the game's opening 20 minutes and never recovered in falling to the Oles 6-4 in Northfield, Minn.
