WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's soccer team closes out its 2011 season Saturday, hosting Augsburg in a 1 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Ochrymowycz Field.

Unfortunately for SMU, for the second game in a row, Sibik's tally was all the offense they could muster, as Augsburg — fueled by a pair of second-half goals — handed the Cardinals a 3-1 MIAC setback at Edor Nelson Field in Minneapolis, Minn.

Saturday's game marks the final collegiate game for SMU's seven graduating seniors — Cassie Hulett (Milwaukee, Wis.), Ellie Bradford (Whitefish Bay, Wis.), Amanda Rahman (Rochester, Minn.), Kelsey Schneider (Portland, Ore.), Kelsey Brown (Elk River, Minn.), Ashley Gernes (Lake Elmo, Minn.) and Rachel Gates-Vickery (New Brighton, Minn.). … Hulett, coming off an injury that sidelined her for the past four weeks, stopped five of the six shots she faced Wednesday against Macalester. … Hulett enters Saturday's game against Augsburg with a 1.81 goals-against-average, while stopping 31 of the 44 shots she's faced. … Fellow goalkeeper Miranda Halling (Rochester, Minn.) stopped seven of the nine shots she faced in the 2-0 loss at league-leading Saint Benedict last Saturday. … Halling has made nine starts in her freshman season, and owns a team-best 1.42 GAA with 60 saves. … Both of SMU's wins this season have come by 3-1 scores — the Cardinals beat Marian 3-1 on Sept. 11 and snapped their eight-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over St. Catherine on Oct. 15. … The Cardinals' three goals vs. St. Catherine came from three different players — Gates-Vickery, Schneider (Portland, Ore.) and Tessa Scanlon (Cologne, Minn.). Wednesday's loss to Concordia was the Auggies' second straight setback — and second straight loss via shutout. Augsburg was also beaten by Hamline 2-0 last Saturday. … Last Saturday's 2-0 loss at Hamline snapped the Auggies' season-high three-game winning streak. … Four of Augsburg's eight losses have come via shutout. … Augsburg heads to Saint Mary's Saturday having posted just three of its eight wins on the road. … Bri Clark has been the Auggies' offensive leader this season, boasting team highs in goals (10) and points (23), while Olivia Muyres owns the team lead in assists with six. Muyres is also second to Clark in points with 16. … Augsburg's 16 goals this season have come from five different players — Clark (10), Muyres (5), Courtney Gamrath (2), Carly Reimer (1) and Brooke Vroman (1). … Katie Gajewski has started 16 of the team's 17 games in goal, compiling a 1.30 goals-against-average, while stopping 83 of the 104 shots she's faced.
