WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's soccer team is home for its second straight game on Tuesday, as the Cardinals host Gustavus in a 7 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Ochrymowycz Field.

Tuesday's game vs. Gustavus is the third straight home game for the Cardinals, who play their next four contests on the road, before returning home for four of their final five games. … Saturday's 1-0 loss to Bethel marked the seventh time in SMU's seven contests this season that the game was decided by a goal or less. … SMU has allowed just four goals in its last five games, but are just 1-3-1 in those five contests. … Goalkeeper Chris Williams (Chicago, Ill.) finished with seven saves against Bethel Saturday. The Gusties enter Tuesday's game at Saint Mary's ranked No. 20 in the latest NSCAA national poll. … Saturday's 2-1 win over Saint John's pushed the Gusties' winning streak to three straight. … GAC has now put together winning streaks of three and five games, with a 2-1 home loss to St. Olaf its lone blemish this season. … Saturday's win over SJU was also the second overtime game of the season for the Gusties, who also beat Cal Lutheran in overtime on Sept. 11. … GAC has outscored its opponents 14-1 during their current three-game winning streak. … Zach Brown scored both of GAC's goals against Saint John's on Saturday. He now shares the team lead in goals (7) with Mark Adams. … Adams is also the team-leader in points (19), while Jackson Zoellner owns a team-best seven assists. … Adams, Brown (16) and Zoellner (13) all have 10 or more points through nine games this season. … Brett Ylonen has started seven of the team's nine games in goal, compiling a 0.70 goals-against-average and has stopped 20 of the 24 shots he's faced.
