Recap SMU vs. Augsburg — Their Last Meeting:• September 18, 2013: The Cardinals' Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference-opener against Augsburg had a little bit of everything — great scoring opportunities, stellar goaltending and continuous back-and-forth action … not to mention a little double-overtime drama. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, that double-overtime drama ended in heartbreak, as the Auggies broke a scoreless deadlock with seven minutes remaining in the second extra period to hand SMU a 1-0 setback at Ochrymowycz Field.
