Cardinal Men At 2013 MIAC Championships:
Oct. 5-6-7, 2013: Saint Mary's in general—and Tim Wolford (Maple Grove, Minn.) in particular — saved their best for last at the 54-hole Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Wolford fired a three-over-par 75—including a one-over 37 on the final round's back nine—leading the Cardinals to their best team score of the tournament, a third-round 322 and a 10th-place overall finish | Recap

2013 Men's MIAC Championships Recap:
Saint John's used a strong first round and consistent play over the final two to lead wire-to-wire and capture the 2013 MIAC Men's Golf Championships. The Johnnies shot a final-round 302, and held off runner-up St. Thomas and a host of other challengers. SJU's Brett Draxler finished two-over-par to claim the individual title by five shots. Saint John's was out-of-this-world on Saturday, finishing 1-under-par as a team with a 287. The Johnnies came back to earth a bit over the next two rounds with a 309 Sunday and Monday's 302, but SJU still prevailed as the other competitors fluctuated from day-to-day. The team championship is Saint John's first since 2010, and 11th MIAC men's golf title overall, which is tied for the second-most in the league's history.

Cardinal Women At 2013 MIAC Championships:
Oct. 5-6-7, 2012: There's something about the MIAC Championships that brings out the best in Saint Mary's Jennie Marx (Austin, Minn.). A year ago, Marx recorded her career-best 18-hole score during the opening round of the conference championships, firing a first-round 97. And she was at it again this year. Marx shattered that collegiate-best effort, as the Cardinal sophomore shot a 92 during the final round of the MIAC Championships Monday at Bunker Hills Golf Course, leading SMU to its best team score of the three-day tournament (389) and an 11th-place overall finish | Recap

2013 Women's MIAC Championships Recap:
St. Thomas and Carleton battled for three memorable days and 54 unforgettable holes at the 2013 MIAC Women's Golf Championships, and the result was the closest possible finish, as the Tommies edged the Knights by a single shot, 951-952, to claim the team title. Carleton received some consolation, as the Knights' Shannon Holden scored a two-shot victory to win the individual championship. UST and Carleton were never separated by more than two shots throughout the tournament. The Tommies entered the final day a shot behind the Knights, but used a 314 Monday to move ahead of the Knights, which carded a 316 over the final 18 holes. The finish was the closest in the tournament's history since moving to a 54-hole format eight years ago. With the win, St. Thomas receives the MIAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships | Tournament Recap
