ST. PAUL, Minn. — Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Becca Dup entered the opening day of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships as the conference's indoor long jump champion.

And the Cardinal sophomore completed the long jump conference sweep Friday, narrowly missing breaking her own school record when she uncorked a winning leap of 5.48 meters, well in front of runner-up Callie Jones of Augsburg, who finished a distance second in 5.28 meters.

Dup, who will take part in the triple jump on Saturday, also qualified for Saturday's final in the 100, clocking a seventh-place time of 12.60.
