ST. PAUL, Minn. —
Becca Dup entered this year's Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships as the reigning champion in the long jump.

And Saturday afternoon, the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota junior exited the championships as a three-time conference champion.

Dup—who posted a winning leap of 5.38 meters in Friday's long jump competition—completed the conference double by equaling her school-record leap of 11.74 meters to win the triple jump Saturday.

And Dup wasn't the only Cardinal doing the MIAC champion two-step

Brandon Krogman joined his female counterpart in standing atop the MIAC podium twice, as the Cardinal senior followed up his conference-winning performance in the 800 on Friday—where he won with a time of 1:55.87—by shattering his own school record in running away from the 600 field in collecting conference title No. 2 with a time of 1:21.50.

With Dup and Krogman leading the charge, both Saint Mary's squads posted their highest team finishes in years. In fact, the Krogram-led men's team finished eighth in the 11-team field—the highest finish in program history—while Dup and Co. placed ninth among the 12 conference schools, their best finish since 2007.

Maria Missurelli put together the best indoor championships of her career, breaking her own school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.45 meters to finish second behind St. Thomas' Kendall Novak, who won the event with a vault of 3.55 meters.

Desmond Steward, who recorded a second-place showing in Friday's triple jump—notching a leap of 13.72 meters—added a sixth-place effort in the long jump Saturday, posting a distance of 6.46m

Christian Beamer delivered a seventh-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.84 meters and
Austin O'Hare delivered in eighth in the 3000 (8:49.67), while
Kyle Lichttenegger placed ninth (22.99) and Noah Anderson was 13
th (23.45) in the 200, and
Tyler Amy finished 16
th in the shot put (13.26m).

Alexis Floresca and
Danielle Franke also competed for the Cardinal women on Saturday, chipping in a 13
th in the 200 (27.14) and a 27
th in the 3,000 (11:22.31), respectively.
